What’s the thing you’re most scared to do? What would it take to get you to do it?
I have the story. My grandpa already wrote it, and typed it. It’s his story and it’s literally history. I’m holding these 15 pages in my hands. His time in the US Army from 1944 to 1945, from Fort Dix to Europe and back.
I’m scared and I need the courage to put this out there. I think people would read it. I know some people may say bad things about it and that makes me nervous.
My grandpa isn’t here anymore for me to ask his permission so I debate whether or not I should share his story with the world.
I will keep thinking it over. I do think I will eventually do it. Not only do I have his typed pages, I have lots of photos that he took along his journey. This is museum worthy.
I’ll see what happens. It could also be made into a docuseries.
